Virtual Reality (VR) Training:Thyssenkrupp

There are strict compliance norms in case of Working at Height and Working at Scaffolds. This type of work requires optimal situation handling and thus it is crucial to train the workforce in the best practices to be followed in every risk handling circumstances.

To encourage adherence to best practices amongst the workers at all times, Eframe suggested a complete Immersive VR Training for achieving optimal ecosystem as well as competent trained workforce.

Solution Highlights:

Working at Heights
The cornerstone of the VR training module, deals with creating a work at height experience and emulates all the necessary safety measures that come into play. The VR simulation deals with various risk assessment scenarios and provides simulated hand interactivity in order to solve problems.

Working at Scaffolds:
The secondary focus is an immersive experience for users working at a scaffold and the necessary safety measures that accompanies it. The VR environment helps generate the look and feel of working at scaffolds, deal with various risk assessment scenarios (such as where to tie the harness hook while on the scaffold) and provide simulated hand interactivity in order to solve issues at hand.

Electrical Safety:
This phase tests the user in how they handle the situation, i.e., if they are reporting the issues correctly and so forth. The simulation checks understanding of the users about the importance of checking plugs and cords before using them and harps on the necessity to eliminate octopus’ connections, i.e., connecting multiple plug points on a single hub and so forth.
